Privacy Policy

This policy covers uncomplex.run and the Uncomplex tools, operated by Phii Technologies. It explains what we collect, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
Account details. If you make an account we keep your email address, your name, and a profile picture if the sign-in provider sends us one. Sign-in itself runs through an external authentication service, which has its own policy.
Task descriptions. The instructions you type, anything you add afterwards, and the script we write from them. We keep these so you can reopen a task later.
Files. Only for tasks that need them, and only for as long as described under Your files below.
Usage data. The pages and tools you visit, your browser and device type, the country your request comes from, the page that sent you here, and timestamps.
Error reports. Stack traces, console messages, and a small number of screen recordings, collected only when something breaks so we can fix it.
Your files
Tasks that run in your browser never send your files anywhere. They are read and written on your own device.
Tasks that run in a sandbox upload your files to temporary cloud storage. A job running every 5 minutes deletes them within 24 hours for private tasks and within 1 hour for public tools, so a file is usually gone long before it reaches the limit.
The AI model that plans your task sees your written instructions and structural details about your files, such as column names, data types, and file sizes. It does not receive the contents of your files. If a request would need the model to read them, the task is refused before it runs.
We do not use your files or your task descriptions to train models. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone for advertising.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- run the tasks you ask for and show you the results;
- keep your account, task history, and settings;
- apply rate limits and stop abuse;
- see which pages and tools get used, in aggregate;
- find and fix failures; and
- answer emails you send us.
We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use your data for marketing you did not ask for.
Cookies and analytics
We use a session cookie so that you stay signed in. Beyond that we run a privacy-focused analytics tool for page views, a traffic analytics script for referral sources, and an error monitoring tool that records a small sample of sessions and any session that hits an error.
We never send your prompt text, your file contents, or your original file names to analytics. The events we record carry counts, file types and sizes, durations, and statuses.
There are no advertising trackers on this site. If you would rather not be measured at all, block these scripts in your browser or use an ad blocker. The site keeps working either way.
Who we share it with
We pass data only to the services that run the product: hosting and temporary file storage, sign-in, AI models and their tracing tools (which receive your written instructions and file structure details), analytics, error monitoring, and a web search service used when a task needs current information. Each of them gets what it needs for that one job and nothing more.
We also disclose data when a law or a valid legal request requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep things

Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to fix it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@uncomplex.run and we will act on it within 30 days.
If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account details and your task history. Result links you have already shared with other people may keep working after that.
You can also complain to your local data protection authority if you think we got it wrong.
Where your data goes
Some of the services we use are outside your own country. Where the law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we use one.
Children
Uncomplex is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update this page and move the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with data we already hold, we will say so plainly here.
