Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Uncomplex, operated by Phii Technologies. By using the service you accept them. Questions or concerns: hello@uncomplex.run.
1. The service
Uncomplex provides browser-based file tools and a custom task service that turns your instructions into a script and runs it on your files. Uncomplex is free to use; see pricing.
2. Your account
The browser tools work without an account. Custom tasks need a free account, and you're responsible for what happens under your login. The service is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Uncomplex to:
- process content you don't have the right to process, or that breaks the law
- upload malware or files intended to harm the service or other users
- get around the published rate limits or capacity caps
- probe, scan, or disrupt the service, its infrastructure, or other users' tasks
We can suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
4. Your files and your results
- You keep ownership of the files you upload and the results you download.
- You need the right to upload what you upload.
- Uploads are deleted automatically: within 24 hours for custom tasks, within 1 hour for public tools. See the privacy policy. Keep your own copy of anything you care about.
- Custom task results come from a script generated from your description, so check them before relying on them for anything important.
5. The software
Uncomplex, including its design, code, and the tools we built, belongs to Phii Technologies. Your files and results belong to you.
6. Third-party services
The service runs on third-party infrastructure: hosting, temporary file storage, sign-in, AI models, analytics, and error monitoring. Each is described in the privacy policy. Their availability and behavior are their own.
7. Changes to the service
We may change, pause, or retire features and limits. When we do, we'll say so on this site, and where a change affects you directly we'll notify account holders by email. If paid options are introduced, pricing will say so before anything is charged.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, Phii Technologies' total liability for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data.
Some places don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Suspension and deletion
You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@uncomplex.run. We can terminate or restrict access to anyone who breaks these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We'll update this page when these terms change and move the date below. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
